Mark Skjervem

PMG typically serves as the owner’s representative or advisory to ensure the appropriate management and organizational strategy is in place, effective management and control processes are in place, appropriate contracting strategy is implemented, schedules are met, budgets are achieved, the owner’s interest is protected and the final completed project meets the owner’s expectations.

Skjervem has managed programs, which have involved new terminal developments, terminal renovations, airfield improvements, new air traffic control towers, financial studies, interim facilities, testing, commissioning, and turnover of aviation related facilities. He is currently the Deputy Program Manager responsible for design and construction for Los Angeles World Airports’ (LAX) multibillion dollar program. Part of his daily management, include coordination reviews at all levels of management, safety- quality management and client relations.

Skjervem was a Vice President in the Aviation Division of Parsons Transportation Group. He has more than twenty five years of aviation experience in project delivery from concept development through acceptance for airport operations. Skjervem has managed alternative delivery methods at major airports that include Design Build and Construction Manager At Risk. He has led projects that require supervision of design consultants, contractors, specialists and staff from client organization.He has managed large complicated multi phased programs and projects.

Skjervem is recognized for enhancing productivity and improving efficiency while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. He has extensive leadership experience for projects requiring integration of complex systems and operations such as project planning, scope development, design management, construction management, budget, and schedule analysis. Skjervem brings augmented leadership knowledge from being a Program Director at multibillion dollar airport programs in Doha, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, UAE, DFW and from managing significant Capital Development Programs at ORD, DCA, IAD and LAX. Skjervem received his Bachelor of Architecture, Urban Design, from Texas Tech University in 1979.
